I came across this website checking out a few other ma forums, and this company is looking for martial artists to be characters for their game. Here's is the link to how you become digitized into the game: http://members.lycos.co.uk/ugfighting/character.htm. The demo I watched so far was really good. For more info, check out: http://members.lycos.co.uk/ugfighting/ Hope to some of the members (male or female) on here with me!

My guess is...
I have a feeling that this game is only going to be available for PCs. It's a small gaming company, and it doesn't seem to have any affiliations with Sony, Microsoft, or anything else. I still feel it's a good effort for such a small company. If you've ever done programming, you'd understand.

Its true and I have, but they could have done better IMO. All you have to do is look at some engine examples to see what they used. Or find a good 3d engine somwhere, many of them are free.
Look at half-life 2 its one of the most open and best engines there is around now. And they are doing what they did with the first one. An open source code for modders. It is the only reason why half-life is still being played 8-9 years after its invention.
Valves business plan for that gem was a stroke of genious.

Too true.
Has anyone played the recent fight night series? Never played it online but I have fight night 2004, its one of the better fighting games I have played to date. And round 2 looks much better in terms of graphics. I can't wait for round 3 on the PS3 that game looks amazing!!!!

I haven't played any good fighting games yet. But I haven't tried UFC: Throdown on PS2 or UFC tapout 2 on xbox, they might be good. I also heard Pride FC on ps2 is good too but I haven't tried that either. I'd like a fighting game which is based on an MMORPG. That would be great, keep increasing your skills, get into street fights train yourself and then you can get into tournaments

This game is like a "Diamond in the Rough"
Rumble Roses.
I've beaten it with all the characters, found all the litte secrets galleries and other perks, but I still can't enough of it. If you can look past the beautiful female wrestlers with skimpy outfits, and actually look at the gameplay itself, it's amazing. Whatever engine they used for this, they should also use for PRIDE Games as well. That's just my opinion.

Virtual Fighter
Tekken Tag & 4, Virtual Fighter 4 & Evolution, and Soul Caliber 3 are excellent 3D striking games [I have them all].What separates Rumble Roses from those other titles is their system of incorporating submissions. You just have to play it for yourself to understand.
Note: Virtual Fighter Evolution is a good game. I usually do well with the Judo character.
Originally posted by shadowkillerThe new Tekken is supposed to be pretty good and soul calibre as well. Not sure cause I havent played them but I have always liked virtual fighter. Even on the 32x it was wicked, I have number 4 now on ps2. Its pretty fun and very very challenging.Last edited by ddrive; 12-26-2005, 04:55 AM.
