  • Martial Arts Business - Interesting Article

I thought people would find this interesting and great for discussion.

"Why 90% of Martial Arts Instructors Are Not Succeeding In Business", According to The Institute of Martial Arts Professionals.

There is only one reason according to this fake institute which is really a marketing company selling their own products, and that is,

not buying into the IMAP products.

Interesting article, I agree with some of it. But there has to be a way of keeping your MA integrity and succeeding in your MA ventures.

Thanks for posting it, it's 2am here. I'll read it again when I'm more awake.

It's like a grandmother opening up a restaurant because she is good at cooking. The high rate of failure can be seen in other industries as well.

To run a successful school it obviously requires a lot more than martial arts skills.

Articles with grammar errors tell me one thing: they don't proof-read and therefore don't care about what they write. Example:

"They are not prepared to invest in their future, successful martial arts instructors finds the money for the seminar, those resources, those DVDs because they recognise the importance this new information and motivation has on themselves and the future development and growth of their business."

              Need help!!

A student I train with sometimes at my MMA school who only visits sometimes says it's hard to keep up his technique because he can't find any good MMA schools in Baltimore. I find that kind of hard to believe though seeing as how Baltimore is a gigantic city with a high crime rate.

Well, do any of you guys know of any good MMA schools in Baltimore?
