Eskrima School near St. Louis

I am attempting to find an Eskrima school near St. Louis, Missouri. I have tried the net without avail. One St.Louis School stick fights every few weeks, but I want a school that concentrates in Eskrima. Also, I am not rich so I can't afford private lessons.

I don't believe they do stick fighting each week. I have a friend who trains with them out of Apex.

but you would get a good amount of stickwork

we do stick (or blade) fighting every week on tuesday. on thursday, at apex, we tend to do a mix of whatever we feel- stick/blade, knife, empty-hand, sometimes staff or rope.

who's your friend?

to the original poster- if you're looking for consistent eskrima training, apex offers it nearly every day of the week. there are also many more fma groups in st. louis (lots of serrada, a couple other inosanto-style, one balintawak, one eskabo daan).

Jim he used to do grappling out in washington with us. I think he is still concentrating on knives, but I'm not sure it's been awhile since I've run into him.
