How can I get my own avator, and post it?

[COLOR=blue][FONT=times new roman][SIZE=3] I didn't see any avators on the list that I am looking for. I do have one that I like, but I don't know how to post it into my profile. Yes that is right I am computer illiterate. Any help would be appreciated.
