I'm just starting my training curriculm which consist of hubud drills, footwork patterns, pain resistance exercises, and timing drills.I also TRY to incorporate form training as well. What I am wondering is if I already understand what goes down in a fight (experience) would my training be weaker than let's say someone who has a 3rd degree black belt, but no combat experience.Someone once told me a street fighter would most likely defeat a martial artist because of the unpredictability of the street fighter, is there any truth to this? I understand there are a million and 2 variables. So after that conversation I thought to myself that maybe if I was half "street" and half "dojo" I would be a "tool".Whatever the answer, I know these trapping drills have boosted my punch contact ratio through the sky.I've checked schools in my area and they train for "school fights" not really but there black belts wouldn't last 10 seconds in a street fight, robbery, or rape.Isn't that what martial
arts and/or self defense techniques are for?If you ain't ready, get ready!DON'T GET SCARED BE PREPARED.
