lol, the reason why people keep bringing up the "oh but if weapons were involved ..." excuse is because it's something that can never be tested (and proven stupid). There is never going to be fights to the death events involving knives is there? That's just idiotic. And if there were you would have people like Tonto posting on forums saying "lolz lolz lolz, knife fighting is no use 4 teh str33t cos everyone knows that all fights involve guns!!11".
The weapons arguement is the stupidest of them all mates. A completely untrained spaz can hold a knife and stick it into your stomach. You don't need to have 10 years experience in Escrima/kali/chop stick fighting.
All this, "waaaa train with weapons" bullshit is nonsense.
By this logic knife training is a waste of time because if someone has a gun you will die.
