  • Punchers glove/Boxers glove: The Difference?

I've always wanted to know the real difference between what would be considered a "puncher's glove" and a "boxer's glove". Is it the design, the construction, amount of padding, etc.?

I know Reyes are generally considered a puncher's glove, and I know they seem to have less padding around the knuckle area. Is that the only reason?

    Anybody know the difference?

I've fought in Reyes, Ringside, and Everlast. Everlast has improved much on their construction - their padding sucked horribly in the past. Much better now though. Honestly, Reyes have been the better of all of them. Very compact padding and construction. I would have to say they are all "puncher's" and "boxer's" gloves. It really depends on whose wearing them.
