lol kicks obviously, I dont know any fancy kicks or anything like that, and I have very good upper body strength but there is no competition between leg strength and arm strength.
As for what I would use in a fight, punches all the way.

Definitely kicks are more powerful if you train them to be that way. Sure, Tyson might punch harder than i kick, but im sure someone like cro-cop(about his weight) could kick harder than Tyson. Legs are just plain more powerful, and i also feel as if i can put more of my body behind my kicks then my punches. Also, im not one of those guys with thunder thighs, i have average or even less than average sized legs and a pretty big upper body for my height.

but consider the speed of a non-telegraphic lead leg low front or side kick.
fastest, closest tool.
simple.
legs have more musculature, greater leverage, and can hence deliver more force. I'd love to examine the specifics...but I am not a professor of kinesiology, physiology, nor physics.

legs are more powerful for sure but we use our arms and hands for about 100 times more intricate movements so there's far more control and accuracy. easier to put more focus and power behind something so precise i think. legs derive there power from the hips mostly and core where as a punch comes from the legs , hips , core and shoulder . both have advantages i guess when it comes to power . boxers knock more people out though.
