  • Boxing/weight training routine

    hey, im not a boxer but i do know that most boxers keep themselves in top condition or else they wouldn't be able to last a round in the ring.

    Saying that i know that boxers usually train in the ring sparring, on the bag, speed bag, shadow boxing etc... I also know that most boxers lift weights as well.

    I was just wondering how u guys schedule your weight lifting into your routines. Do u do it first thign b4, after or in btw. the boxing training?

    I'm really having trouble figurign out if i should train my M.A. first or do the weights. If i trained M.A. first i know i would be tired and my muscle endurance wouldn't be high for the weight lifting and vice-versa so what do u guys uaually do?

    Usually i get my boxing things over with then lift weights.

      Same, lifting weights really doesn't seem all that tough after finishing my boxing routine. As soon as you get somewhat in shape it won't be a problem.

        If you want to incorporate weight training with your boxing routine, you might want to do a split. Lift weights in the morning, eat well the rest of the day and hit the boxing gym in the evening. This will give you a chance to recover from the weight training; don’t forget to consume some nice complex crabs and protein right after the weight training. A lot of body builders and power lifters will do this by working out some of the lager muscles in the morning then the minor ones in the evening. Another note, never max, keeps reps at 10 to 15 for everything but legs. With legs keep reps at 15 to 20, this will build strength and endurance (creating greater depth in your red blood cell count). The high rep count will also keep you from over doing the weight and reduce injuries.

            I like some what he has to say, but his Sample Routine rep wise is like that of a power lifter he is talking about doing reps of 4 to 6 and this is something that powerlifters to for gaining raw weithlifting power. If you lifting weight that is meant for doing reps of 4-6 you also putting your self at much greater risk of injury no matter how well your form is. A boxer wants the power but also the conditioning that comes from weight lifting, almost like crosstraining and reps of 10 or more will give you both.

I will leave an input ----> Weight Lifting for Beginners isn't hard but... Weight lifting for beginners program is but it is demanding, when you start a you need to have one thing straight, this is not going to be a walk on the park, this is nothing easy, nor these are vacation, in a weight lifting for beginners program you are going to be working hard, like never before, you are going to be putting a lot of effort into building up your body and that takes a lot of compromise from you, this is no easy task or something for anyone to do, this is not just a few lame exercises, this is the real deal, out of this weight lifting for beginners program you are going to be getting results, and you better give the best of yourself

                I don’t know why I had never though before about making juices drinks. Right now I feel like I discovered a whole new way of snacking with juices drinks and keeping my body hydrated through the day with delicious tasting, vitamin filled Healthy Juices.
