spar only with people who are better than you, eventually you get tired of getting beat up so you work harder in order to surpass them

listen to eye of the tiger while putting your training uniform and gloves on. then look out the window and think of it as a jungle and you have to survive it, then you will get your fighting spirit back.

I used to do road work to it, talk about lame, I also used to have tapes of motivating music like the darth vader theme, the song from top gun and we will rock you, LOL I went through a similar thing one time when I lost, my fighting spirt was real low. Some times a person doesn't just break you physically in the ring but he breaks you're fighting spirit. It's har but if you relly want to be a fighter you'll get over it most of the thing the guys say on the ufc show about fighting are things thast all of us fighters have said before, and there's a reason for that, these things are universal things that only fighters can relate to. >Just think of all the things you like about fighting and it will pass, remember at the end of the day it's only a game and it's the most fun you can have without going to jail although personally I'd pick being hugged up with some chickie over throwing down lately.>BTW here's some of mine
            1. the stare down with the opponent
            2. the walk to the ring
            3. the day of the fight
            4. the day before the fight when you're climbing the freaking walls
5.the last training session before the fight when you get that "everything's on lock and load" feeling
            6. the first punch/kick of the fight
            7. the feeling you get when the fight is over and you have that testostrone/rage high/ survival thing
            8. the trip to the emergency room where you have to explain how you hurt yourself in xyz way LOL

Please don't take this the wrong way but . . .

If you don't have the will to fight - then don't. Don't even waste your time. I'm assuming that you're not a professional fighter that gets paid to fight so this really more for personal development. You're gonna go through cycles where you'll have more spirit, it will flucuate. But if you don't have it - don't force it. It'll do more damage then good. This all under the assumption that you do live sparring. If its like just working technique or feeling as though you don't want to do drills - then that's more a personal problem.

Getting beat is NOTHING!!! You suck it up and swallow that hurt pride boy! You're nothing, you're not even worth responding to.

Change your screen name from WARRIOR 189 to BIGWUSS ZERO and delete that stupid assed signature line or change it to "please don't hurt my feelings"

Get over it and move on. You havn't lost a thing warrior, you never had it to start with....

                  Feel it yet?

take a week off and research new and innovative training ideas...after a week of finding new methods you cant wait to try youll be like a starving wolf in a henhouse when you finally get back to the gym.....when your mind begins to pull away from your training then its usually a good sign your bodys telling you to take a break.....sleep more for a week, eat better than you have been and try to plan relaxing activities to rest your mind and body...trust me you will be better motivated and stronger when you come back.
