Hey, so I picked up an everlast leather double end bag for $27 today (Same price as the speedbag). Now my problem lies in actually mounting it. I got two metal brackets, that I guess I'm supposed to bolt into the ground and ceiling. I'm putting this in my barn/home gym. It has high ceiling but has rafters and such I could connect it to. Now, do I have to drill into the concrete, or what? How did you guys mount yours?

Originally posted by SasquatchI have it figured how I am going to secure it, but you're saying the elastic one should be on bottom? I got one elastic one, one more like a rope.

Originally posted by SasquatchMounted it today. It was exactly what was lacking from my training: Head movement. Slipping, ducking, amen. Now my footwork needs a bit of work...

The way I hooked up mine, is on the top I used clothing line rope and on the bottum I used the bungy coard that came with it. How I hooked up the bottum, I used part of a hasp and put on a 8 inch long chain from a little dog chain and hooked it up to the hasp and run the chain threw a 50 lbs weight. But, I did put electrical tap were I spliced the the chain on.
