Hey guys.
I've been watching clips over and over of Floyd and Roger Mayweather doing mitt work. It's the most unreal mitt work I've ever seen. There are periods where Floyd and Roger are both up at high speed and it looks like they're just feeding off of eachother. No called out combos or anything. They also seem to go at it pretty fast with both offensive and defensive techniques. When I see most people on the mitts, the pad man calls a combo and the puncher executes then sets back up. When you watch the Mayweathers it's like an endless combo and they could keep flowing all night long.
My question to you guys, does anyone happen to know what the theory behind their pad training is? How its done/executed? Is it all planned out beforehand, or does Floyd just react to what is thrown or shown to him? Hopefully someone has answers because even watching it in slo-mo is proving impossible for me to figure out.
Thanks!
