well i'd love to help but i got rid of it a while ago. if you ask me that books info seemed a little outdated

How so ? Is this with regards to the actual technique or just the 1920's style cut of the man's gib ?

well a little bit of both. i mean most of it is either common sense or could be picked up at any boxing gym. i also saw a clip of jack fighting (shortly after i had already read the book of course) and to say the least i was greatly disappointed! i understand it was like 80 yrs. ago but the sport has evolved and rendered that mind set obsolete. but read for yourself i'm just a jkd man anyway...
