    Any excercises for strengthening wrists other than knuckle pushups?

    I've been working on making my punches straighter, too, which I think has a lot to do with it.

    take a stick and a rope and a weight.

    Tie one end to the stick, one to the weight, and then using only your wrists roll the weight up and then back down, invert your grip and do the same thing.

    Works forearms too.

        Just expanding on excessive force..

        U can either put both arms forward , striaght and out, holding the stick (with the weight tied to it) horizontally across both hands and roll the the weight up and down..or just hold the stick with one hand..(the second kills after a while cos u only have one wrist/arm doing the work)...

          in a book i have covering some of bruce lee's training, it recommends putting feet shoulder distance apart, and just hold like 5 lbs in one hand at your waist and lift it up and down 20-30 times, in sets of 2-3.

            curls behind the back using just your wrists...(or up front wrist curls...which resemble preacher curls...
            wider bars on all lifts...
            triangle, finger tip, and knuckle push-ups...
            pull ups...
            any type of grip apparatus...
            and, of course...those goofy looking things made for tennis, squash, and raquett ball players that look like this;

            all of these things work like a charm.

            I can think of a few other things as well...
            including a joke too obvious for me to pop. Think what Garland might post about wrist exercises...I'm lude and obscene...so...it may extend past the obvious statement...including variations thereof.

            On a side-note...I also use the wrist flexor thing for tennis players on my legs...just put it over my ankle and press the top of it with my foot while I watch tv...
