I've just done a search for that over on youtube, and its not bad for an anime. The thought processes that take several years in a fight that lasts 5 minutes are funny as hell.

and the fact that hajime no ippo is so good is that it's actually using true facts..its just a little bit exagerated..

like the dempsey roll or the gazelle punch for say..but every technique and term is actually true and realisticly correct.

it's actually fairly easy to do, in the TV series Hajime no Ippo, it's a bit over done, people can actually beat someone with that move, as stated above it's meant to keep someone busy those type of hits sting but don't really hurt you would have to be able to hit someone with that move continuously for a whole round or two then you could possibly hit them in the arms enough that they would possibly be beaten enough that they couldn't defend a strong attack any longer. it's a fairly simple attack though, you put your arm down at a right angle with the horizontal part at your waist, giver yourself a little forward backward movement usually only one or two times, then just jab fast and pull back, jab pull back, just do it over and over just a really quick jab from your front waist after the first jab you just hit them over and over from wherever your hand is. another way it's used is to shock the opponent jarring them for a second or two with how fast you are then moving in and beating on them with stronger harder hits. only use it if you're faster than your opponent, if they can dodge two or three of them in a row then you're going to be hit with a counter, but if you know you can hit them over and over with it without them dodging then either one will work for a while at least, every now and then throw in a strong hit to mess the person up (only if you're doing it for a long time like near a whole round). but in all areas a flicker jab is not something you want to use often, they can backfire on you since you can't backhand anyone you could screw up swinging from the sides of the person and backhand them if you're not careful, also if you hit the same areas in a rhythm they'll get use to it and start to dodge them. it's just not a good attack, it's better as a defensive technique, to keep them away from you so you don't get much damage, kind of like a clinch.

that comment didn't make any sense could you please explain it? it wasn't that stupid of a comment he had it slightly wrong that character wasn't based off of anyone, it was the technique he used that was based off of Thomas Hearns technique. so why is it you call him stupid? if i have made any mistakes in grammar or spelling please do not hold it against me English isn't my first language. as for you beutifully should be beautifully you forgot to add the a in there. as for him being stupid look at your comment it had nothing to do with this subject at all it was just to trash talk someone, who would be more stupid someone who had their facts a little wrong or a person who hasn't the ability to talk to people politely, whilst not knowing anything about the subject being talked about, next time please keep your downer comments to yourself especially when you know not the subject material.

You’re right. My comment had nothing to do with the subject. It had to do with the following: as I scrolled down through the posts and yours came into view, the site of that character just cracked me up. My response, my words, “you idiot” were along the lines of when friends hang out – and one of them does something funny and another will say, “you idiot” but not as an insult. It’s understood between them no harm is meant. Hanging out on here, I’d forgotten something Mike Brewer has wisely pointed out in the past. How easy it is to be misunderstood when gestures, facial expressions, tone and all that are absent. Still, my apologies for having unintentionally offended you. That was certainly not my intent. And thanks for reminding to try to maintain Mike’s perspective hereinabove, as I write my posts. By the way, good one on catching my mispelling!
