  • Need a Good Diet/Exercise Routine

    I'm overweight (6'4" about 255 lbs) and trying to solve that. I have a heavy bag as well as a double end bag. If anyone could give me a diet/exercise routine that would help me shed maybe 30 lbs (I have a very big frame, 225 would is about the perfect weight for me), I'd be very grateful. Roadwork is a little iffy because I have bad knees.

    Also, I do a little bit of boxing on my own (bad knees stop me from joining an actual boxing gym) and I keep hyperextending my right elbow when I throw hard. What can I correct to stop doing that?

    You can simply reduce the amount of soda you drink or mayonnaise you put on your sandwiches, or you can substitute healthier choices. Drink water instead of soda, for example, or use mustard instead of mayo. Low-fat and low-calorie options are also available for most foods, and many of these are natural, (although some may contain chemicals), and tasty.When you have bad knees, the most important thing to keep in mind is that running is your adversary. While you are running, each stride you take puts the equivalent pressure of three times your body weight on each of your knees. If you have bad knees, you should do your best to avoid running, jogging, jumping, lower-body weight training activities (such as squats), and most high impact sports. This steps will really help you to remain fit and also in boxing too.
