if people didnt train with there gloves on so much, and maybe if they did some hand conditionin, ie iron fist, your hands wouldent be so weak in a real fight, because this isnt the ring there are no rules and are no gloves, thats why i dont train with gloves and rules to follow, protective gear while training will lead to weakness in real fights on the street, or anywhere else you have to defend yourself,

      peace.

yes they do jr, but you dont know how to use either one so whats your point?
your knife defense was run get in your car and run them over if i remember correctly. You proved your street survival skills to me already.

BTW dont you think the picture's over the top? The thread was about boxing fractures...not gunshot wounds...i posted a pic of a boxer with a broken hand from a streetfight. you reply with a picture of a murder victim in a holy war?

Oh i just thought I'd lighten the mood. And I do know how to use a gun Boar. I prefer non-leathal home defense though. Like a 15 shot semi-automatic BB gun pistol that's Co2 powered and shoots 450 fps. Or the ol' Co2 Paintball gun. Either of those at close range will put someone down in a hurry. With all the gun laws here in Illinois I find it allot easier just to pack those here in my home. Ammo is way cheaper too.

Thats it, from now on i call you peter Pan...first your defense against knives is a car, now your home defense is a paintball and bb guns
I hope you at least keep the paintballs in the freezer

some of those people who got hit by tyson had to be taken to the hospital because they had broken eye sockets and other broken facial bones. i think i read one of the dudes he hit on the street ended up having his eye sight damaged permanently from getting hit by tyson. evidently he once knocked out his garbage man when he was a teen and sent him into convulsions cause the garbage man had thrown away his dead pigeons wooden cage, that he was gonna use for a stick to play play stickball with. some of these fights also included him vs more than one person and he destroyed them. whats more interesting was that tyson reportedly used more than just boxing in these fights. he used headbuts, stomps, and kicks as well.

btw, every punch doesnt have to be 1 hit kill. its your choice how hard u want to hit. u can use lighter, faster jabs and combos instead, and use footwork as well. and as gong fu said, if your hands are conditioned, they will be stronger and wont take as much dmg. this is true. if any of u watched tough enough 2 u saw luke conditioning his hands and knuckles on sand bags and rocks outside. everyone thought he was wierd for doing that, but the werent saying shit when they saw how hard his strikes were. boxing style punches have been used barenuckle all over the world and in mma and have been proven effective. i dont think palm strikes are better. u can really **** up your wrist if u mess up and it is pushed back. especially if your wrists arent even strong enough to be able to use lighter, faster boxing combos effectively barenuckle. and either way, no matter what u use theres always a chance of being injured, thats what happens in fights.

people just need to stop saying boxing style punches arent good for self defense cause thats bs. thats just like the people who keep saying " nah man, dont lift weights it will make way to big and slow for martial arts".

I got into a street altercation last year. Like an idiot I crow hopped and punched the guy in the side/rear of the head. i didn't realize it was broke at that exact moment but subconsciously continued to throw a few kicks and left punches.

I had to have a brace thingy on it (kinda like a soft cast) for a good while and my knuckles no longer line up correctly.
