I think Jones jr. would get hurt against Tyson. Remember when people thought Spinks could give Tyson a run for his money in 86? M. SPinks was a light heavyweight, who kod heavyweights because he could out box them.
I think Jones jr. would last 2-3 rounds with Iron Mike. He would definitely score on Tyson, but Tyson has a chin coupled with awesome mobility/defense.
My prediction (if the fight takes place)Tyson will miss a few bombs in round 1 and get nailed by jones's counterpunches. Maybe a bruise or two,but TYson will be fine. round 2 Tyson will adjust his timing and land one that will plant jones to the ground. Jones will shake off the punch and look like "what the hell did he hit me with? a brick?" I see Jones in round 2 again showing some resilience and testing Tyson's chin and defenses. Round 3, Tyson will close the deal and land some devastating body shots on Jones Jr that will slow him and rock him. He sends Jones to the Canvas mid round 3- via left hook. Post fight analysis, Tyson will say that Jones "dances like a butterfly and stings like one too."
Whatya think?

With Tyson a 1st round KO is possible with any fighter. His speed and power are tremendous. He doesn't just sit there and feel the guy out with jabs like a traditional boxer, he bobs and weaves around the guys straights and pops up with a left hook, short right cross, left uppercut etc. with perfect precision. Tyson is hard to hit when he closes the gap, because his mobility and defense are superb. He is an expert infighter.
Jones also has great mobility and good defense too, notably his counterpunching. If he works on it and comes straight in like Holyfield did, he can effectively confuse Tyson with an "unintended" headbutt/shoulderbutt which are rather dirty tactics (allthough legal if unseen by ref), then he can land shots.
Tyson's fight strategy is built to destroy traditional boxers who feel their opponents in early rounds. At 5'11" and 230, he is shorter than most heavyweights, thus it makes no sense to play the tall man's game. Jones Jr. is a technical fighter/counter puncher who uses ring control. He will have to be his sharpest to outstrategize Tyson, because there are few that can outbox him at his best. If Jones comes in prepared and sharp, he goes to round 3.
