One of the best martial art combinations that championship team use all the time is the big 5 combination:
1)lunge punch
2)front kick
3)spinning back kick
4)back fist
5)reverse punch
Another effective combination that a boxer can possibly use is the fake lunge combination:
1)bring knee up in chambering position, but abruptly drop it
2)simultaneously throw a jab
A good one for street fighting is the foot sweep punch:
1)bring your back leg up to the front and sweep
2)while he is falling back, automatically give him a punch to the nose or throat
Finally, another effective street fighting combination is the punch-knee combination:
1)fake a jab
2)slide forward with your lead foot and deliver a reverse punch to the face
3)simultaneously execute round house knee strike to the solar plexus area

The feel out combo that I always used and did me well was very simple..(keep in mind I am a south paw.)
1. Double Jab..
2. lead hook
3. mid uppercut,
Always very good to start off a match.

umm...quickly..lol..
j/k. I am not sure if that is even actually the name for the punch but it is done by feinting a jab...When you do this people usually belive that you are going to follow up with a diffrent style punch, if you follow with a second jab (Hence the double jab name) It usually suprises people. You just have to snap your arm right afrer the first one to go an connect, it takes some good hand speed.

Your right...
As my name infers I am also a grappler and if someone throws a front kick at me Not to mention a spinning back kick I will shoot on them and have them on the ground in a second.

Depends on the venue I suppose. If I'm fighting another kickboxer, I might work 4-6 punch/kick combos to create openings and wear him down.
For example jab, rear roundhouse kick to legs, jab (while circling just outside his right), left hook to the body (again circling outside his right), r cross to body, left hook to head.
The rear roundhouse usually lands, so does the left hook to the body. I throw the right cross to drop his hands and then come upstairs for the left hook (which is might be partially open). In this combo, I'm constantly moving inward to my left (his right) to get the angle and keep pressure with body shots and suprise him with a left hook at the end.
If I was fighting a grappler, I would take a little lower stance and KEEP moving while throwing 1-3 punch combinations, stick and move and ready to sprawl. If my sprawls are successfull, I would work uppercuts, hooks and maybe a knee from the seperation. I would not start kicking until he shows signs of slowing down and the kicks would come in the middle of a flurry or last technique.
Then again, most people are not 100% grapplers so I can only hope that this would work. Then I would run away
