What silliness really! How do you know that what you learn is either materially the same as what was learnt in the old days and/or that it is effective?

HERE ARE THE REASONS:
1. If KungFu has no mixed with other non-KungFu MartialArts then it is the correct art that you study/practice. And this is one of the reason why kungfu deteriorated if it mixed with a non-kungfu arts.

2. If your KungFu fights with other non-kungfu arts and the ratio is almost 2:20.... i mean kungfu hit his non-kungfu opponent 20times while this non-kungfu opponent hit kungfu 2times.

3. There's is always a chinese name in every movement of kungfu that you execute. If that movements has only "english names" then your kungfu is fake.

For Example of a True KungFu Art:
kobra: what style is that?
sherwinc: this is called ChiDianBun
kobra: then what form are you practicing?
sherwinc: this is the first form(kata) of ChiDianBunKungFu, this is called Beng Hu Ha Shan
kobra: wait, what kind of kick is that?
sherwinc: this is called lap sing kat

For Example of a Fake KungFu Art:
kobra: what style is that?
ThaiBri: this is called TaiChiChuan KungFu
kobra: then what form are you practicing?
ThaiBri: this is called PICKING THE NEEDLE FROM THE SEA BOTTOM
kobra: wait, what kind of hand attack is that?
ThaiBri: this is called spear hand strike
kobra: please translate it in English....

I do agree, its akin to saying I learn boxing, Mohammed Ali, Frasier, Foreman were boxers and were unbeatable, therefore it is tried and tested and does not need development.

How about if Muhammed Ali A (knows wingchun) versus Muhammed Ali B (knows boxing), they fight each other with no rules???????

both fighters are equal in their status/defensive/offensive mechanism

but.....

the one who knows wingchun will win rather than boxing!!!!!!!

Wing Chun can easily beat boxing if you use the butterfly knifes -then you have a clear advantage. But to fight a boxer with Wing Chun alone is more risky, unless you mix it with some other art such as Aikido to make it more complete.

The movement of Kungfu weapons is also the same as the movement of Kungfu hand attacks.

since kungfu weapons are the extension of a kungfu fighter's hand attack.

even your boxing moves cannot beat wingchun's butterfly knives....

Yes, you are right in this... cause for me, Chin Na KungFu is very effective art compare to a Southern Eagle Claw KungFu for many reasons......

Chin Na's best level of art is in its "Poison Hand" or cavity press, delayed death touch, as well as his level of - sealing the vein, sealing the breath, dividing muscles/tendons/joints. 108 death cavities (72 paralyzing cavities, 36 instant death cavities)

while.....

Southern Eagle Claw KungFu - an inch of depth of 3fingers injected to their known attacking points.... bloodshed in every hand attack that connects....

Note:
since in Chin Na KungFu has more techniques compared to Southern Eagle Claw then Chin Na will win......

Learning Aikido is a waste of time.

One of The best combination is:
Chin Na KungFu with Southern Eagle Claw KungFu with WingChun KungFu with Lohan KungFu
