  • Pai Lum Kung Fu

Seems there is quite a few different outlooks on Who is Pai Lum and who is not. All the families are Pai Lum and no one family is the better, i.e. pai lum tao. And as the leader it has always been the blood line that decides and not some celebrity laten group of publicy hounds. Other that that there will be a major family gathering the 2nd week of July for all the families. Further info will follow

    More Pai Lum out there

undefinedThere are over 30 direct Grandsons and Granddaughters of Master pai's linage. All have "Pai " names to show there true heritage. Most leave the show boating to to certain families and contiue to teach in their own quite qways. But rest assure that they do teach. There are hundreds of Pai Lum schools not associated with the Pai Lum Tao group and all are not of the crap discriptions that are professed by the Wilson schools because of their lack of interest in his "grandmaster, professor" view of the world. But none the less the other 99% of Pai Lum andd wilson's 1% contiue to exist.

Sorry Lirttle Devil. You will only qualify as "knowing what your'e talking about" when you've opened your mind to a few more styles, and studied those. Just studying one is called being brain washed.

Im not saying about just having knowledge on 1 style of amrtial art sure i research into tKD, Karate, Judo AIKIDO etc but i only train Wing Tsun, but i like reading about competitions rules and stuff for other styles because my martial art dosen't have competition in it, Plus WT the one activity im learnign where no competition is involved , wheras i have competed in:

          Badminton
          Tennis
          Trampolining
          Horse Rider Trials
          Hockey
          Netball
          Basketball
          Dance
          Gymnastics
          Athletics
          snowboarding

I joined up to learn a martial art with no prior backround knowledge of the system because i knew i was a clean slate for the martial arts world and if this sytem (WT) said what it could teach its students how to defend themselves, then who better to take it up then a competitive teenager, whos only ever known competiton in sports.
Being trained in a non-competitive sport that is strictly martial arts had taught me a lot about having the will to fight at the right time.
This dosen't mean that im biased against other martial arts, i train for myself and i read up and study other styles so as to broaden my horizons you might say, so in turn Thai i think you should not be so biased against students younger then yourself just because of the age gap.

By the way, how about getting some accurate information in the mix? All this mystical nonsense you prattle on about may be great for you teeny teenagers, but what about those of us who have grown up?
