  • How do I train in One Inch Punch ?

    Please can someone explain how to train in one inch to 3 inch punch.

    I feel if someone would explain to me, how to train I would appreciate it and also how long would it take to train in 3 inch punch.

    Its kind of stupid but I told mates I could do a 3 inch punch and they put bets on it now . So please I beg all you kungfu guys to show me the way I need to do this in 3 weeks or I loose money thanks

    It is very easy. All you need is a long measuring tape (about 6 feet) and an impact pad.

    Firstly measure out the full 6 feet. Start your fist at that distance and punch the pad. You will, of course, need to alk a little to reach. Keep at it until you have a very hard punch.

    Then, when you are satisfied, reduce the length of the punch each sesion by one inch. Eventually you will be able to do the same punch from an inch.

    Easy.

      Make a fist.
      Put you knuckles centered vertically in the center of your stomach.
      Cock you rist up.
      As you punch cock you rist down.
      The punch is a slight upward motion (like a scooping motion).
      On impact you top knuckle hits first and rolls up until you bottom knuckle makes impact.

      Also, it is key to get your hip into it. Your hip moves first.

      Hope that makes sense.

            Well, in your case I guess you could practice by punching twice the length of your dick.









            ...and build up from there until you reach three inches.

              I read in a kungfu book that another way to train for one-inch punches, or at least to help build up strength for them, is to do layer pushups. Do the standard pushup, except on your insteps instead of the balls of your feet. Lower down one "layer," hold for 10-30 seconds, then lower another layer, hold, then lower a third layer, then bottom out, then rise again, hold, then rise again, hold the 30 secs, then rise up again, hold the 30 secs, etc....eventually, increase up to like 6 layers per pushup.

              They are very hard to do though, you will find.

                get a back pack and fill it up with weights(pref 30+kg on top of your orginal weight) and do some fist push ups. If you have mastered that, you can master any inch punch. The idea of this exercise is that your joints will be able to withstand that amount of weight without any give as well as the fact that your body can push that amount of weight. Most people with punches will have a certain amount of give and the one inch punch is a representation of a simple punch without any recoils.This ideaology is the same as running into a wall.

                  The 1 and 3" punches are merely a trick with very little (if any) combat application. To start with your arm is almost straight. As you straighten it out that last little bit you tighten your lats and sink your weight. Hard to describe.

                  Since you've bullshitted to your mates, I hope you fail and they piss their pants laughing at you.

                    isnt it easier to do a 3 inch punch over 1 inch punch? you have 3inches to pull a fist back over 1 inch so it should be easier to do, anyway once your too close in, the punch becomes a push.

                          boxing is pretty useful as a business since most merchandise require a box to place their product in, knowing how to make a box is pretty irrelevant in a street fight situation. Its times like these when you need the "Desert Eagle" or the "Magnum". There is no one inch punch that can puncture a body like a piece of hot lead

                            That type of 1 inch punch is bullshit, have you ever been 0 inch punched by a Hsing Yi master? It's 10x harder than that crappy push Bruce Lee did and it could knock you out.

                              bruce lee could have knocked people out too with his 1 inch punch. in the clips, the people he would punch were holding a pad of some sort or wearing sparring vests on them. if they hadnt the probobly wouldnt have been getting up.
