Any of you guys train to show off/protect a certain lady or vice versa? Any do it to protect themselves against people sexually attracted to you?

I personally have no need to do such things but I did protect my ex when we were going out from a guy that was harassing her.I made that guy cry in front of his g/f with WORDS and not physical actions which my ex and I both laugh at when we think about it.Come to think about it, it was only earlier this year, wow!

i train to protect myself, and if some attractive female just happens to be there, than good for me.

correction, i train to protect myself and my friends. if somone is messing with a friend of mine, especially if she happens to be an attractive female, ill fight.

the fact is that if u have a bombass gf, ur gonna need to protect her. the hotter they get, the more and more guys try to get on them all the time. thats just how it goes. so when some douche is trying to pull some shit on ur girl, ur gonna have to step up. protecting ur chick and standing up for her is a must, but doing martial arts just to show off to chicks is weak. i know a couple people who all they do is try to impress girls with the martial arts angle. they try to make themselves look like such a tough guy. i think its pretty lame. whats even lamer is how much people eat it up sometimes.

Emptyness, yes i agree with what you say, its the angle of doing MAs just to show off that I was asking about, such a guy must be very lame/dumb and i havent yet met anyone that bad, in that way.

Yeah, it's good to show a girl how to fight too, however, despite hotness, unless you're at some young people's beach or in bars all the time, I think most guys are pretty respectable to other guy's women.

In bboying club here, the guys love to show off dance moves to the girls, they even bring in their gf's so they can watch them dance like hell and be show-offs; that is the cool thing about bboying, you are SUPPOSED to be a hotshot show-off while doing it (as long as you don't get super full of yourself).

Woman are remarkably inept at warding off men that "try to get on them all the time" Very few times have I actually had to "stand-up" for a woman. They can take very good care of themselves. Women have many, many tricks up their sleeves for warding of sleezy men. More likely that a woman will talk someone else into trying to beat you up, than you having to protect her. So in general I let the women handle it. They are greater at demoralizing, humiliating, and intimidating others then they are given credit for.

If you really feel you have to protect a womans mind from being pursuaded by some guy hitting on her...time to find a new girl. Beautiful women are everywhere, no reason to stick with some dumb ______.
