Do you guys have any philosophy on effective combat strategies(by that I dont mean what style you do cos I dont care)?
Here are some of my ideas;
To Do:
*Mass manipulation- if you can manipulate your opp. weight, you can control the majority of their power.
*large joint manipulation-this can be broken down to 2 parts; arms-elbows/shoulders will stop fist attacks and defences, hips/knees- stops kicks and most importantly imobilises opp and grounds them to the ground.
*relax-clear your mind, dont let your emotions get the best of you otherwise you will do somthing stupid
*hard and fast- dont let them see you attacking, otherwise your letting them block
Not to Do:
*Small joint manipulation- any pain for an angry person will take atleast a couple of seconds to register and in afew seconds, many things can happen.The other half of the problem is the fact that the pain doesnt usually stop them.
*talk/laugh etc- this will distract you as well as disturbing breathing.you should clench your teeth so your neck muscles are tense to lessen any impact damage.
*think-you are trained to do what you do and the requirement to think retards your whole body to react. Just use your training instinct
*Hold back- show them no mercy for you shall recieve none!
