I would have thought wing tsun and wing chun don't differ that much. What is the differance?

But they have similarities. One of the main ones being that student from one particular variation will claim that it is the best thing ever. Ever ever ever.
Then they will find out what a load of tripe it is, switch to another variation, and then say THAT is the best thisn ever. Ever ever ever.
And none of them could hang with a BVJJ Blue Belt or an amateur boxer with three months training.......

@Thai Bri: From what I read in all your posts, I conclud you have an obsesion with bashing WC/WT. If you consider this to be true, go seek a psychiatrist. Ok, I know WC and WT have McDojo problems, but that's no reasone to bash an art, in fact this is the shortest way for you to become a migty 'keybord warrior'. In fact what are you trying to convince us: that WC/WT is week ? Just learn to respect others; shuffering your opinions the way you do, sayes a lot about respect. Get used to the fact that we all have diffrent opinions and stop trying to change everything your way. I don't what this post to summon the 'Internet warrior' in you; I did not want to offend you, just read this and think about it.
Btw, I agree that most WT/WC don't have a chance agains a 'normal' boxer [this is way my WT training has more of a boxer's attitude], but this is NOT because the system is week. It's because they don't train the way they should, but as I sayed everyone is responseble for there and only there training. POINT.

I remember someone giving this example; you throw a bat at someone and it hits him in the chest. That could hurt but it would hurt alot more if you took that bat and swing it at the person hitting him in the same spot with alot more force. Same goes for techniques. You may know thousands of techniques that dont mean anything because the energy you give is completely wrong and there is nothing behind them.
