    Greetings,

    Please excuse the interuption.

I can fully undersatnd and somewhat agree with #47 Martial Man.

I was reading the links he had posted, very interesting.

I had decided to search for other information in accordance to his opposite view.

Conveniently, hardly anyone has a website to give such opposite information.

While searching, there are many websites, people, and places, using the name atrociously.

For the word "authentic", I will have to agree that there aren't any.

I dont know who these silly people are advertising for "Su Sifu" the owner of this acadamy but if i was them i would stay away from him because he is trouble.
I know him very well...I trained with him in the Siping Acadamy for more then 1 year and for a 3 months in Yantai. In just a few months i was away from him i noticed a big difference when i returned. Having MONEY went to his head.
Ive seen him hit students, start fights in Bars and hit bottles over his own head (stood there bleeding like an idiot), have a shit in a bush and then fall over leaving master Qu to pick him up because he was that drunk. The list can go on and on.
But i would just like to advise people not to go to him because he is not in this for the love of Martial Arts he's in it for money and taking advantage of westerners.
And if any of you are training there now watch out because there has been rumours that Su and Wei are both GAY.

Any Questions feel free to ask

What the hell does this have to do with anything?

Just because the guy is gay doesn't mean he can't be an excellent gong-fu instructor.

The martial arts at this particular school are taught by the Shaolin monks the way it was taught to them at the Shaolin Temple. There for the martial arts are authentic even though the temple was originally built for Buddhism. At the shaolin temple Buddhism comes first but not to the public eye. Maybe to the masters Buddhism comes first, but the school was opened for the purpose of teaching the martial arts that are taught at the Shaolin Temple.
Do you think this because it says so on the website? More fool you. 90% of the westerners who go to China to learn so called Shaolin would NOT be able to cope with the way they the Chinese was taught. For example the punishments if they stepped out of line. JAB902 can you tell me you would let a little bald chinese man wack you on the back with a big stick infront of everyone?

As for coming from the Shaolin Temple they are NOT. There are many Schools around and just outside of the Shaolin Temple this is where they are from, i should know because i have known these Teachers from Yantai fro over 3 years.
Su who owns and got the School together is actually from the south of China, Fujian Province and i beleave he was at the southern Shaolin Temple for a few years or so he told me but then again every other month he told me he was a different age.

1 more thing they do claim to be Shaolin Monks but what you need to ask your self is should they be Drinking alcohol and smoking, running around causing trouble, hiring Mafia to try and put students off leaving his school and ripping people off for thousends of dollars and im not talking about tuition fees.

And if they was so good why is it i seen a student put Su on his ass infront of a whole class.

As i spent time in the Siping Acadamy i will try answer any Questions about them moneygrabbers too.

It is exploitation of something that had religious overtones.

Hey guys, long time no see

I don't work for this school anymore. We had a small argument with the headmaster concerning his business ways (which are not very honest). You can read more info about Yantai and Siping at doc's shaolin forums. To sum it up in a few words: Traditional Shaolin Protection Monk Bullshit.

I'm starting a new service in a few months. We will only deal with serious (experienced) martial artists this time. Not a "Shaolin school-hotel" for martial arts hippies with swimming pools and tanning salons. Just a real hardcore training environment with a personal trainer. You will get what you pay for, and no ridiculous prices or empty promises from "Real Traditional Shaolin Protection Flying Monks."

                  I'll let you know.

                  - Shizo
