yes i myself study in the animal forms of shaolin, but i wasnt speaking about animals that we observe that can fight effectively in certain ways, like the crane, snake, tiger, etc they can fight and defend, but you cannot teach them martial arts, i was speaking of animals tht you can teach martial arts or combat skills to, i heard a welsh kickboxer taught his dog muay thai in 3 months and he is teaching him more.

How would a dog execute a round house kick with his shin? Do dogs have 4 elbows or 4 knees? Errrr... since dogs have four legs wouldn't that make it the art of 16 limbs instead of 8... wait a minute...

WTF, that is bullsh*t. A dog doest have the right limbs to do anything like a human let alone Muay Thai. The only animal that is capable of learning a MA to any extent, is a monkey. No other animal is neither physically nor mentally capable.

dont ask me i just see it in the newpaper, it had a picture of the dog clinching the man with his 2 paws around the guys neck and executing a low kick to the man, obviously the dog cant perform all moves in muay thai, but its interesting to see it knows some moves look it up on google or i will get some links hold on,

and boarspear did you check out the stances of that dancing leemur dont you see potential with it learning martial arts?, if that species is legal to own in england me and my wife are going to get a baby one and teach it martial arts from birth, i will take it to the shaolin temple aswell to see what they have to say about this.

yeah i saw the natural way the animal moved...no human is that graceful or agile, why would you teach it move like us? that would just hurt the monkeys ability to defend itelf...its like that IDIOT who taught the dog to kick box...he actually said it can defend itself better with boxing I would rather have a 90lb dog MT kick me than bite me anyday of the week. Thats just letting your ego get the better of you. But back to the postures of the animal you wanna teach...i bet his posture is better than yours and he is better connected than you are...but youre gonna teach him?

yes his form is excellent and good point about him bieng better than me, maybe i should reconsidr teaching him a full style, but i would still like to teach him some stances and drills and have him train alongside me, i admit i want to do it because i want to put him in a little shaolin uniform and have him as a pet (well looked after ofcourse with plenty of space) because he would look cool in his little uniform training, maybe i could learn alot from the monekey, i wont restrict his skils and natural way as you stated, i will try my best to improve his skills, teaching him stretches/drills/forms, but wont make him learn an actual full style, would you like to give some advise about this kinda thing please? because i dont want to harm the monkey in any way.

                            peace.
