The way thats usually done is kicking the legs as you launch head butts at his face...but it isnt a high percentage move on anyone with grappling experience.

I still would rather go for the kneecap than the groin strike... But that's a different thread...

Well, at least you could get his nose if aiming properly...

Anyway, what would you do? Emptyhand I mean.

And THEN there is the gouge! Both thumbs in as deep as they will go and literally scoop out the eyeballs! (Practice on dead critters but not your friends) The term I have used for the result of this is *Orbital expulsion... I can't confirm medical terminology though?

          Anyone?
either attack the eyes with freakin intent to pop 'em or dont bother. shredding or gouging attacks should be fast and furious, fu#K technique just do it.

It all depends. But usually a complete shake with stomps, elbows, groin slaps and headbutts give me a second to figure something out.

There is the matter of INTENT. If you NEED to MAIM or permanently blind them by all means gouge. If you only NEED a distraction or a deterrent to change his mind a little POKE might do just fine... Pop the balls or scoop them out? It's a poser?

It all depends on how hungry you are or if you keep "souveniers"

BTW, I have had numerous guys tell me this story. I guess they were trying to impress me with their wealth of knowledge on self defense. It was usually told right alongside "put all your keys between your fingers and punch!"
I never said it is self-defense. In fact, I never even said anyone in the world can pull it off.

                        The Stylus

Although I do keep my keys handy when approaching my car I also have a blade that can be drawn and deployed just by passing my hand over the sheath but this took time and energy to develope. Here is something that should suit anyone. I fully intend to carry this 'stylus' when it becomes available. This might even get into courhouses and onto airplanes, what do you think? Here are some pics.

I think an actual pen has just as much weapon potential and WILL get into the courthouse or on a plane, I suspect security would recognize that as a weapon and deal with you accordingly.

you don't think it blends in? One thing about this device that appeals to me is its dimentions, I have somewhat fat hands and I envelope most commerial pens.
