  • Surfing the net on my day off:

Came across one of those 'fights caught on tape' websites and these clips were in there to:

This one really caught my attention. All you Dim Mak fans should get a kick out of this. Real/Unreal??

another Demostration: P.S. For some reason these last two clips take a sec to load but they do come through.

Mui tai: Just off the wall.

The first one isnt too impressive, I can kick you in the nuts and make you feel it in your stomach :P

The second one, I didnt think he was actually kicking him in the nuts, it looked like he was stopping short and just hitting his robes..

The third one... I dont know, just felt like a fake/kinda joke thing, but I think its the most believable of them all haha.

It doesn't matter if in the second video, he actually connected his kick. Shaolin Monks can use a stick on each other's nuts for centuries.

The first video, well, im sure he was stunning his students, but, try to pull that off in a real fight against someone who knows what theyre doing and youll get KTFO. Also, his students were just standing their. Before the master or instructor was about to strike his cooperating students, his hands were no where near protecting his face. And, that were english guy(or whatever) had the wimpiest punch, and then he's like,"that was a hard punch, i put all my body weight into it", what a dumbass. If a boxer(or thai boxer) or mma fighter put their best body shot on one them, those dim mak students would be more than stunned. Besides, even if you were hit with one of those pressure point strikes, im sure someone who is very tough and has been trained to fight/defend himself would recover and beat the hell out of the pressure point striker. Besides, how could those dim mak practicioners survive against an opponent who is trained to use a knife?

If you are attacked by someone who knows what they are doing with a knife, most likely it will turn out badly for you. If you have never trained the blade yourself, well, kiss your ass goodbye. It's difficult to defend yourself if you have no idea what to expect.
                Obviously........but

What if the pressure point striker is attacked by a trained fighter? Someone like that dim mak master probably has no idea what to expect in a REAL h2h encounter.

The theories behind the art the Dim-Mak master is using came from about the most real H2H encounters expierenced next to being a Roman legioner.

I think he would have no problem defending against a street attacker, numbers.

Dont call me numbers, call me Triangle or Sir.

I dont give a flying fvck if the "theories" behind dim mak CAME from the most real h2h encounters. How do you know that for sure? Besides the chinese LOVE to believe in themselves and overexaggerate. Besides, the dim mak master could never execute those techniques in a real fight against a trained opponent(MMA,j/k but seriously), it just wouldnt happen. And if it could, then someone should prove it. Im guessing that youre a pressure point striker, and well, good for you....just dont expect it to do you any good against an guy who is fighting back at you...KOTF, for SD, just stick with a knive(or gun) and for REAL h2h combat, MT is 10x more likely to work than dim mak.

I have used pressure point attacks in real situations, i used to bounce in bars and after hour clubs.

I'm going to take the suggestion of a good friend of mine and stop giving you valuable advice anymore numbers. Good luck running away.

No it loaded perfectly for me, the midget muay thai fight looked staged/a work. Hence the fake comment.

The kick you in the nuts/make you feel it in the stomach was a joke, but its also true. I didnt comment on the video well, I honestly dont believe that stuff is worth the time of day (death touches, etc). Until someone knocks me out by POKING me under the rib (a nice body shot would KO me nicely I'm sure). I wont believe it, I'd love to give that Chinese instructor a chance to prove me wrong. Except I get to move and hit him too, cause if they are just standing there, theres no point really. I dont need training to knock out a guy who just stands there and doesnt do anything.

Yeah, if someone is just standing there, i can knock them out too, except they wont be recovering from patts on the back.

Those weren't 'pats' on the back.

I have experienced a dim mak stike it SUCKS! Although I did 'stand' there and let the guy hit me it was a demo, however I have no doubt that in a real encounter this guy would hand most indiviuals their azzez. If a person is a proficient fighter to begin with then the dim mak strikes are just one more tool he/she has against you.
