  • Baji Kung Fu

Has anyone here ever heard of Baji or studied it.
As far as I'm concerned it is the deepest Martial Art that I have studied in the last thirteen years.

Glad to hear you like it, what sets it apart from the other styles you have studied?

The fact that you can defend/attack/throw with the same motion.

Bajiquan is famous for direct powerful attacks. It is extremely popular in Japan for a Chinese art and used to be an art for Bodyguards.

All of the CMA's have that in common when properly applied.

Are you studying Piqua to compliment the Baji?

How did I know that Piqua is taught along side Baji? Well....it's SUPPOSED to be taught with it, so I was kinda hopin' you were getting it.

The best way to apply your Baji is revealed by your Piqua practice, it's also the way in the door.

So I take it you have studied Baji? I have heard him speak of leaving the door open and closing the door. I'm just trying to grasp applications of the first form and I have learned 5 so far.
