None of the links work for me mate, they just go to the photobucket site itself.
Where you there? I was at the Seni and saw the Kamon stand. Didn't see him though. I also missed the demo. I was only there on the Saturday.
I was part of a small team helping Mick Coup deliver his C2 - Core Combatives seminar. At the end of the day he was awarded the "Best Reality Based Self Defence Exponent of the Year" by the Seni organisers.
I was the big fat guy on the stand. I was there in the morning up to about 2pm and then I went off looking at other stuff.
Admittedly, our stand wasn't great. We had 8 months to prepare and most of it was organised overnight or on the day!!!
I missed Mick Coup. Does he teach in the UK?
What kind of style does he do?
We had Alan Gibson come up to our stand. One of our instructors didn't recognise him and asked if he would like to join up. Alan Gibson turned his nose up and walked away. Ha
I was impressed by the BJJ at SENI. There were a lot of white belts pulling off more advanced moves (leg locks, triangles, etc) and the bouts were quite exciting.
It wasn't bad for its first time in London but I think SENI needs to be worked on next year or it just won't pull a crowd
Er, sort of short hair. Not like a skinhead or anything. You wouldn't have been challenged. If people annoy me I just hit them hahaha.
No seriously, what would have been the point? Everyone is entitled to their opinion it just would have been good to try and show you how wing chun can be used wisely (rather than the flowery stuff that you tend to see nowadays)
I was also instructed by Kevin Chan not to 'call anyone out'.
We did have some weirdos come up to the stand though. One bloke insisted that Bruce Lee was alive and that he would probably be at SENI in disguise
I told him I'd keep an eye out for him
That site is quite impressive - unfortunately all the classes seem to be in Coventry!!!!
He is based in Cardiff, and does some classes there.
If someone has a group who may want to train with him as a one off he will come down. It's something like £20-£25 each, but he'd want at least 10 people to make it worthwile.
If you have a premises and a few buddies who want to do an initial Foundation course, then let me know and I can help sort something out.
Red Rum, I was asked to send some photos for the Kamon Site ages ago but can get the new links to work on the web site. Have you got an email address I can send attachements to so Kevin gets them.
