I wonder how old Erle would make out?
I don't think he swings that way.

Still, great clip. God bless those freestyle wrasslers who can score the (is it two?) pts for picking their opponent up and slamming them!

You would have had better comedic affect if you posted the clip of the guy pile driving his buddy off the roof...but that one is kind of disturbing too.

That is without a doubt the stupidest video I have ever seen. It is an unmitigated pile of wormy, wet, loose dogshit, steaming on a rusty sewer grate in some abandoned ghost town toilet. There was no content, aside from two or three "looks" from Rock repeated ad nauseum over the entire clip. The effect was remarkably similar to how I'd imagine an epileptic seizure in a pile of broken glass and fish hooks, stretching a mere few minutes into a virtual eternity of pain and suffering. We are all dumber from having watched it.

May God have mercy on your soul.
lol, but he was the great one. the most electrifying athlete in all of sports entertainment.

                      Hardman pulled it up...must....be.....high LOL.

The big valboski is basically the re-make of Ravishing Rick Rude.

keep in mind that little kids all over america were tuning in to watch stuff like this every monday night. they would see guys like val venis whos finishing move is called the "money shot", or jump up in the air and scream "SUCK IT" at the top of their lungs in honor of DX while they pointed to their crotches. yes, professional wrestling has always played a large role in shaping the kids of the future.

I watched wrestling during the era of Hulk Hoga, Sargeant Slaughter, Nikolai Volkoff, the Iron Sheik and Andre the Giant.

you missed out then. i watched during the wwf attidude era, were wwf and wcw would have the monday night wars every week, each company doing its utmost to be more over the top and more crazy than the other. this is when wwf decided to get more adult oriented and more edgy, and as a result you began to see asinine characters in wrestling like Val Venis the pornstar, the ultra violent stone cold steve austin, and the charasmatic Rock going apeshit every week.

some good memories.....look how crazy some of their stunts were lol.....like when austin rolled a budweiser beer truck straight to the ring and then gave vince, shane, and the rock a nice beer shower lol.......absolute pandemonium....

                                Back on topic...

Keith Hackney demonstrated how to fight a grappler in an early UFC, when Gracie shot in and he got into a deep stance; not exactly a sprawl but to the same effect. Hackney then threw palm strikes at Gracie, making him re-think how to set up his shot. I think Gracie even got cut under his eye.

Hackney was a traditional martial artist; a 5th-dan black belt in kenpo karate.

Hackney eventually got takendown and sub'd, but not without forcing Gracie to re-think and eat some hard strikes to the face.

                                Anyone else remember this fight?
