If you punch with power and pressure and catch your opponent off guard then yeah it can be useful. Yet I have never seen it done, although I concede I have not seen the fight you mentioned Garland.

The trouble is that a lot of wing chun schools do not teach the chain punch right. Even in Kamon I see a lot of students rely on it and I often end up having to show them how ineffective it is. Remember that your opponent can move, whereas the chain punch is a linear motion designed to work with bil ma (arrow walk).

If you type 'wing chun chain punching' into youtube you will start to get my point

Mr. Brewer was obviously involved in "insensitivity training"...jesus...what a bastard.

Let me guess...the purpose of sensitivity training is to turn us into liberal, tree-hugging, PC promoting, cheese-dick feminized pussy cats? Eh???

To hell with all of you...I'm running late for my pedicure...and I need to get my toy poodle Lance a bath.
