what kung fu can one use against muay thai?

SanShou rules the roost!

Any well trained CMA would work.

There was a succesful taiji school in thailand in the late 40s and early 50s run by Tung Hu Ling and he had to fight and win to have the school there.

But today I would say sanshou or possibly bajiquan and maybe xingyiquan would be your best bet. Most sanshou is sport like muay thai these days and baji and real xingyi tend to be rare and less watered down
