Well, have you had a chance to train in different parts of the country? And if so, did you notice any significant differences?

in fact, i am living in shanghai right now, but my home town is in the west of china.
in these two place, i have two masters teaching me taiji.
but both are internal, there are not big differences.

That's a nice area. I was in Chengdu for a week or so back in the 90s. Nice people, pretty girls, spicy food!

my home town is in taipei, Taiwan, but now i train in calgary, Canada, and my
teacher is actually better than alot of masters in taiwan......i guess that means locations dont matter.

the difference is more depending on styles and masters' teaching ways.
