I just realized that the videos I posted are so limited. Yes there are probably videos of absolute idiots doing gong fu or limited forms practicing, but all we have is publicly accessible open source.

There are stories of others whom have used gong fu, but unfortunately that gets no cred since valuable humint is useless in today's ma community...

People need to see it to believe it and if they don't they won't. Nothing wrong with this, except that alot of what probably happens that's worth watching isn't accessible and if they weren't there, it never happened.

hi tom, a personal account is fine, its just that this video did the rounds as a joke. you know the ones that get passed about. it was part of an old people fighting thing and there were a couple of other vids as well.

What TTE has been saying about the guys who study Chinese martial arts is true, just from talking to some of them - they are serious about using the TMAs but I think they cross train in muay thai, bjj or csw from time to time.

And I'll add that from what little I've seen, Boar's stuff seems legit.

And to be fair, so is Jubajis.

The difference however is that jubaji is more sport focused with some nasty tricks, whereas Boar is more tactical.

I was referring to providing links to Tomyum saying he wasn't sure who Jubaji is. I wanted to know how he knew someones stuff was legit that he wasn't even sure who it was.
