King kitty, let's see if I can address this issue for you. Somehow I think you will reject anything we say outright, but I am willing to give it a try.

Some of us are obssessed with Weaving Palm Bruce Downey.

That is because many of us care passionately about martial arts, and some have worked really hard to attain the higher levels.

Then along comes Bruce Downey, who it has been proven pretty much beyond a doubt, is not a qualified instructor. He teaches his sons out of his garage.

Ok, not a major crime but he posted on Bullshido, which as you probably well know by now is a website run by MMA dudes whose main purpose is to debunk martial arts myths. Much like YOUR website does the opposite.

The thing is, everyone knows where bullshido (and this forum) stands. We are predominately mixed martial arts, ok? That's pretty plain to see by the type of posts here.
Bruce came on Bullshido and this forum and literally FLOODED us with posts. One after another. I am not kidding! The one thread on bullshido runs almost 400 PAGES!

Many of us seriously believe Bruce Downey is a troll. A major troll.

As you may have noticed, he is not posting that much on YOUR forum. Not near as much as he has posted here and on bullshido, or dragon's list.

I believe it is because he is a troll. There is no controversy on your forum because he is basically preaching to the choir with you guys. Therefore, don't expect seriously to engage him in discussion. It's boring for him. He craves and loves the flaming that goes on these forums.

Regrettably, many of us are indeed inflamed by him. And we did take it to your forum (Although I never posted anything), which was probably wrong.

Some of us, like Dale Dugas, Jubaji, CLFSean or Ben Grimm have been taking it a bit to far, but that is because they are serious martial artists who take immense pride in thier training and don't like to see it mocked by a troll or fraud coming in and claiming equal status, when he clearly has none.

I compare this to music. I am a semi-pro musician who has worked very hard to get where I am, but when I see some kid who has the right look but no talent make a LOT more money then me with no work, then I too get upset And I want to do something about it, no matter how wrong that attitude is.

You would need to sift through 1000s of posts to see the level of BS that Bruce has dropped on your forum. Those time periods when he is not posting on your forum? He is on some OTHER forum doing more of the same.

I am not kidding King Kitty, this is ALL he does. Post on the internet.

Yes, some of these guys are wrong and have taken thier vendetta too far. I include myself in that too. But that does not take away from the fact that Bruce is a troll of the highest magnitude.

His first post to this forum was insulting towards MMA. That was the FIRST post.

And for the record, many of the people who are attacking Bruce are not even MMA guys! Are you aware of that? Most are in fact, TMA guys into Kung Fu.

As far as your whole forum, which is anti-MMA...you need to realize that probably 100% of the people on THIS forum came from TMA. We are not mostly tattooed, aggressive sports thugs. I came from TKD, for example.

I happen to love TMA. Yes, really! But I also love MMA, though I admit I almost NEVER watch UFC. I don't like many of the personalities except for the Gracies, who are teaching a classic, traditional form of Japanese Jujutsu with sportive AND self defense elements.

So, try and use that inquisitive nature that made me at first think you were a smart guy, and look at big picture. You have a troll dumping on your forum. Maybe that does not mean much to you, but since you probably have dealt with MMA people before on your forum, perhaps it should.
