Sounds like you are familiar to Chee's lineage. I can tell by your posts. Welcome! I don't know much any news about Chee's lineage. But our lineage has already produced two Ngo Cho Kun books. I would like to hear from Chee's lineage if they are planning to do so. Anyway are you a girl because if you are then you are the first to post here in the forum? Sorry no offense meant.
I don't know what you really mean but every martial art has its history. Every history has its value to share. Learning the lineage has been part in Chinese martial arts to pay respects in the late masters it is always been that in Chinese culture. I don't say learning without knowing its lineage is bad either. We have our own ideas.
Hi !
One of the Grandmaster Chee's senior students (Master Han ) finishing working on WuZuQuan book as we speak. The book will be printed in late November if all goes according to plan. Book will cover all the basics and allot of forms, it will also try to clarify most historical questions about Grandmaster Chee line .
Hi, please have a copy of that book here in the philippines especially on the National Bookstores here in the philippines cause i'm one of the many who wants to buy that.
I heard, Yap Cheng Hai already had a book. It wasn't sold around the world though. Also heard Yap did not first learn Ngo Cho Kun under Chee but with a different master from a different lineage.
I don't know any about the ancestors but I know the five ancestors are not referring to persons but systems. No idea ABOUT THE LADY WITH THE GREEN DRESS. There is no clear name about this person and what style she learned.
Only Chee Kim Thong know much about this lady or his students. No idea about phoenix fist either.
You usually can learn a lineage of the style through its opening and closing forms.
you don't know any (what) about the ancestors
surely the linage of the each of five systems has been kept and recorded
it is so important to everyboby to remember them to understand what we are practicing.
I only know a very little about NgoChoKun, the only thing i learn from my instructor are the following:
1. Di Sip Kun (20 punches form)
2. Kia Be Se (Horse Riding Stance Training)
3. Iron Forearm Hitting Exercises
4. Only 4 short hand attacks.
5. Some GoCho theories and ways of fighting but few
that is the reason why i buy a book of GoChoKun in order to add my knowledge on this art.
My Standard KungFu System that i learn from my instructor is the following:
1. Chi Dian Bun ( Natural Art / Literature Fist )
2. Tai Chi Chuan ( Hik, Kiaw, Tan, Chua, and Yang Systems )
3. Tai Chi Chuan Jian ( Tai Chiae Kun Kiam Sut ) Sword
4. A little of AngKa ( Iron Skin Training and un-finished form of AngKa )
5. Chi Kung Breathing ( Ki Kung, Qi Gung )
I Learn WingChun only in Internet Webpages, Books of Randy Williams, WingChun Magazines, and demonstrations of the fake instructors of wingchun here in the Philippines )
Then for 9 years of practicing all of these KungFu i learned to which i really insist that KungFu is the best of all martial arts classification as my live evidences thru sparring with my many black belts sportminded opponents with no rules. Quit if it really hurts. And KungFu is very effective and i considered it as an invincible martial art compare to all.
