Multiple witnesses that day JR, too bad you have so little experience that everything seems impossible to you. Gee, seeing as you claim to have studied Tai Chi in a park for a whole two years (even though the people on record as being there AND teaching the class say you're a liar they've never heard of) AND you participated in your schools athletic program when you were a kid I'm surprised you don't have more experience.

These people all studied Tai Chi in park in China with the Chens, except they have proof they were there and no one denies teaching them LOL.

    YouTube - Jeet kune do

I suppose Tommy isn't really this fast either, face it clown you've been exposed as a little fraud with a big mouth.

Not that I'm surprised people would want to stab or shoot such a prince of a fellow...

        How 'bout you?
Yeah well he certainly didn't suplex anyone in a knife fight champ Your response is why Boar didn't bother, you're to be believed on your word alone yet when others speak up for Boar it still isn't as credible as your self proclaimed and unverified BS.

              What happened?

              Did TTE and Jubajjiiiiiii hug?

Personally I think that argument is good and brings out lots of valid points. Personal swipes can make the conversation more lively as long as it is done in jest

ROFLMAO, No, he isn't, that's ANOTHER lie. He's simply a white boy obsessed with Asian culture.

                • Tai Chi, (some forms of the style) do have effective fighting applications. It depends how you train and by who and what you train in. I do not do Tai Chi myself, but I am familiar with the combative aspects in some of it.

Again, some I feel, speak about things from their outward observation of them.

                  • Chen Style seems to be effective in combat. I know very little about Taijiquan but I've seen enough of Chen Style to know that it could work.

I personally do not consider Tai Chi an art of self-defense.

I can not imagine how an art with nothing but forms can be useful on street.

For any art to be useful on street you need to train and practice like a fighter through full contact sparring.

Tai Chi as far as I am concerned is just an art for practicing chi and for learning to relax, that's why it is very good and healthy for young and elderly people.

                      Who here agrees ?

I am over 60 and was put apon by a wanna be thug last spring. I took him down with a move that was tai chi. I didn't think at all, just took him down. I will skip the rest of the details.

..... anyhow. TC does 'map' into almost every MA form there is. U be quick study for TKdo, Karate, JJsu, even Judo

Been practising T-C for about 10 years. Too old for Br-J-J. and not crazy enough for Mu-thai (or tough enough)

I used to box though, so have a plan 'B' if req'd

I kind of believe the higher ranked MA guys don't feel this need to insult other members and play the 'My dad is bigger than YOUR dad" thingy.
Something to do with ego-management, and conquering self

You 2-3 dan and up black belts can explain this better than I can

Because at 60 he would look absolutely ridiculous wearing a Tapout shirt and shorts.
