I started training a combination of Kali silat about 2 months ago and a couple of weeks ago the trainings stopped because of lack of interest. Me and a friend of mine liked it though very much (especially double stick) and would like to continue. I've checked around and there are no other trainers of any martial arts like this within a radius of 200 miles from here and we're both kinda poor so we can't buy any books or vids or anything. I would love it and be eternally grateful if anyone knew about a good internetsite with instructions on different techniques with the stick and double stick used in Kali/Silat. Would also like to learn how to use a nunchacka or however it is spelled. if there are any good books that could be borrowed at a library, that would also be great. Well I really hope thereare some kind souls ou there.

It is unfortunate that there aren't any FMA instructors out there in your area. I can understand how frustrating your situation must be.
Email me directly and I will do what I can to help you find a way to continue your training in the FMA.
My email address is kruzada@email.com

The best way to practice when you don't have a school nearby is to start with our DVDs, I say this because I put the entire system on 4 DVDs for Pekiti Tirsia and Doce Pares Systems. Start by reviewing the material and share with someone so you can both workout together. Please visit us at A Kali, Arnis, Pencak Silat, Site for Self Defense, Seminars, Videos, Newsletters of these Indonesia / Malaysia / Philippine Martial Arts for more information and selec F/G & D/H for the best material to start with. I've been doing this for 29 years since 1974 and continue my practice every day. I'll be conduct another 5 day program in Bradenton FL 4220 59th St. Call or email me for details. 917 535 5254 - but my cell phone is broken at this time. You can call the school and leave a message. DoJo Athletics 941 807 1739 and leave a message for me. Thanks, regards, Greg Alland
