Anybody know, out of all the Guru Dan instructors, who has the most knowledge/training in John LaCoste's material? I have a big interest in it.

I would say from experiene, Rick faye who is the highest ranking instructor outside of LA, or Ron Balicki who is guro dan's son in law and great.
I have seen lots of others, this is my opinion

          Hello manofleisure,

Check out Guro Harly Elmore at Warriors Way Martial Arts Academy in Wichita Falls, TX. His schools web site is http://warriorswaytx.com.

Guro Harley is a full instuctor under Guro Dan Inosonto in maphilindo silat. He is a very skilled martial artist as well as a good man. I highly recommend seeking him out for instruction.

          Respectfully,

          Nicholas Stevens

. I am still teaching and doing seminars. I was just up to Pete Corneccio's school for a weapons seminar.

i trained with Pak Herman Suwanda for many years, I can tell you he was amazing, and most of all very humble, very playful, etc, but when he went hard, he was insane. I have some minor clips of his art on my site on the media page

                hello,

this may be true, remember, the majapahit empire changed its geography a bit over the centuries. not everyone at that time called themselves "majapahit". in its twilight, the empire may not have had the resources to build temples. it could be a partial explaination...

if daninosanto pulled techniques and knowledge from systems thought to originate there, he may have thought "majapahit" to be an appropriate name. some may disagree, but who is it harming? gurudaninosanto is not a mean spirited individual. if he chose any name at all, he was likely trying to pay homage to something, not harm it.

as far as the "overview of his system", you might just ask him. he is not gonna give away the candy store, but if you know any of the silat/kali family of systems, it should give an indication of the skillset progression.

                thanks.
