Hi guys just discovered this forum and decided to post for the first time. Last weekend we had the honour and pleasure of hosting Guro Carl Atienza for our training group here in Ireland. During the week he was here we were privvy to some first class instruction/insights and manys the night burnt the midnight oil. Apart from the private classes Aran (one of my students) and myself received while Guro Carl was here, we had 8 hours of instruction for the training group which was extremely well received by all of those present.
During the first day we covered the first knife evolution and some isolations and the second day we finished all of the first long blade evolution once again working on isolations from that evolution. However, this was only the tip of the iceberg with Guro Carl imparting a huge amount of information, knowledge and stratagies. We really can't wait until his next visit in January of next year. I would strongly advise anyone who can get access to this excellant system to go have a look and I guarantee you will like what you see.
