I'm REALLY curious about this art. I know a little bit about it, but I haven't heard too much. Apparently it's a form of silat, but they also have a whole bunch of mysticism stuff mixed in, namely being able to help the blind see...

(I have an interesting tie to this, as I know one of the people who conducted a study on this "ability" and found them more than wanting.)

The breaks they do are perhaps, however, the most insane I've EVER seen. Iron files with their pinkies. no. shit.

Merpati Putih is an Indonesian style. It has it's own website. It was taught in Manila and it was great. But to get more info, maybe it is better if you post your query in the silat forum.

Most of the guys who taught have gone back to Indonesia. Maybe if you ask the Indonesian embassy in Makati, they'll give you leads. Or try to contact MP through its website.
