Seriously, the Kali Tudo dvd is MMA training without the sticks.
Log into their site http://dogbrothers.com and click on the Kali Tudo video.
You'll see what I'm talking about.

I train with Guro Pipo who is under Tuhon Ray and I have to say the FCS dvd's are really good. For starters, Guro Ray Cole put out the system's curriculum in 5 dvd's, so you can constantly check and refer to your material. (How many times have you been working out with your buddy and went: "HOW did that technique go? Shit, I forgot") See the website. I can tell you that watching Tuhon Ray in action is pretty wild, I saw him live when he was in Puerto Rico, and those seminars are available on DVD. If you are coming in from any other Filipino system, I still think that you can find plenty of stuff in all of the DVD's to work with. Depends on exactly what you are looking for, though. But I have seen videos/dvd's from other fma's and these rank way up there. Check out the website and tell me what you think.

                Ill check it out.
What dvds do you like the most?
Im thinking of buying the curriculum 1-5, the panatukan 1-2, punyo mayo vol 1 and maybe the sarong stuff.
Is the silat dvd any good?

Well, I train FCS so the dvd's are a must for my library as reference tools.
All of the dvd's are good. If you haven't seen Tuhon Ray in action be sure to get any of the seminar or fcs gathering dvd's.
I have Guro Ray Cole's silat dvd (vol. 1) and I like it. It teaches the basic (3 out of a total 12, which I understand are forthcoming) djurus, followed by some combat applications and the sambuts (two-man drill). The bulk of the tape goes to dissecting the sambuts. In my opinion, it's teaching an empty hand flow outside of the hubud and panatukan/boxing format- not bad at all. I dunno if an advanced silat player would get the same out of it, though. You should try contacting Guro Ray Cole (I dunno if you can do it thru the website: www.fcskali.com) if you want more details. I also have Tuhon Ray's advance knife fighting dvd as well as Guro Rafy Pambuan's espada-daga dvd both are great as well. While all of the dvd's are full of different techniques, try to remember that FCS is a concept-based martial art- and what the dvd's are trying to show is ways that those concepts can be applied.

Tuhon Ray Dionaldo is also shooting a new DVD for the Sayoc Fighting System, featuring Tuhon Felix Cortes as well. This should be out by end of summer or fall 2006. These will be stick oriented tactics.

I dont know mutch about the sayoc stick fighting, but the knife work is the best I ever seen... And I seen alot in my 10 year in fma. So if its half as good with stick Im happy. We need more of this stuff in sweden...

i'm with danjuandesiga on investing in guro marc's kali tudo. if you want the art part of panantukan(the sectors, sweeps, etc.) maybe halleck's or harley elmore's are more suited to you- awesome DVDs. if you want the art AND how to fight it/ spar it kali tudo is what you want to buy and learn from.
