The website won't load for me. But in my opinion you can’t tell how good a school is based on a website.

While I agree that a website doesn't make a school "good" sometimes you can get useful information which lets you know if it's worth checking out. Usually I check the affiliations...if they are affiliated with a reputable organization/instructor known for good quality control, then it's worth a look. If not, it says nothing one way or another.

That said, their FMA is affiliated with Inosanto, Sayoc, and Dog Brothers. And their MT is based on the USTBA curriculum apparently. And all of those are good names in their respective arts.

And I was looking into that school myself, but it was just too far away.

Guro Nick Sacoulas had a wonderful facility in the past, however this new place symbolizes the dedication and focus he has in constantly improving not only his teaching methods, but offering his students the best place to train. All done with a lot of hard work, slowly building up his school from literally the ground up. He did it the hard way... he earned it.

The best way to get an indication of the school is to actually visit the facility and watch Guro Nick interact and teach his students. Attend a class if that is offered.
