No they're not! There may be some systems that teach it a whole. But in reality they are not often taught as a whole. You cannot even find a Panantukan master in the Philippines. Most Arnis instructors like to say they practice dumog but in reality they do Judo or Jiujitsu which is common to most arnis instructors. Its hard to find a dumog practitioner in the Philippines but there seems to be plenty in the States same with Panantukan.
I wonder why?

>>>> It's hard to find a Dumog practicioner in the Philippines
When I first started practicing JKDC I really gravitated to the grappling/dumog techniques. Around this same time my Father-in-law (who is Filipino) took a vacation to the Philippines (Luzon). Anyway he has a nephew who is an officer in the PNP and is an Arnis teacher/champion. He invited my Father-in-law to one of their training sessions to watch. My FIL asks the officers if they practiced any Dumog(since he had seen me practicing it in the States). The Filipinos had NO CLUE what he was talking about, had never heard of Dumog, seen it, nor did they no anyone in Southern/Central Luzon who knew of the term. I'm guessing Dumog is not a term used in Tagalog nor are the techniques known(or called that anyway) in Luzon. Kinda funny.
