FMA in Sydney - Personal Experiences/Recommendations

heya,

I'm located in Sydney, and was thinking of taking up FMA. Does anybody here have any personal experiences or recommendations they could share about schools in Sydney?

I know that apparently the Fight Right gym in Blacktown and the PYC centre in Redfern both offer lessons in Doce Pares. Would anybody have any advice of experiences about this style, or about these particular schools?

Also, I've heard that Ray Flora, who's in Carlingford (not sure if this is still true) gives private lessons, but I assume this would be quite expensive.

How much roughly should I expect to pay for group vs private lessons?

Finally, how long would it take to develop a passable aptitude (I know, this is probably a stupid question) compared to say other arts?
