  • Pekiti Tirsia, and SinaTirisiWali

I am not the first student of Tuhon Gaje, Jr. but I have longevity of any of the Pekiti Tirsia group, save for Tuhon Gaje, Jr., himself when I met Turhon Gaje, Jr. at the Jersey City Medical Center 1972. And if you'd like to know too, train with any member to of his elete Pekiti Tirsia Kali as do many knowledgible in these arts and sciences, including the military and "get a real understanding of what this art is all about". PGA circa 1975 or 6.

A real master seeks knowledge always, as did Tuhon, even to this day I know many of his disciples continue to practice in these ways. It's the reason Pekiti Tirsia is always evolving, Tuhon, circa 1973 and where we learned a simple principle, "Can you stop me? Can I stop you? Tuhon's words exact. In addendum "Not Matters What?" was put there by GM Tortal. Although I remember Tuhon always said, "No Matter What?" As I too continue the original material given us in the early days, and do you have it in your left hand?

If you're ever in Virginia Beach, please be my guest at our class any Saturday at 8:am or Tuesday at 7m please call first to insure class that night.

Regarding All Classes at - HYBRID ACADEMY of MIXED MARTIAL ARTS 5476 Virginia Beach Blvd. Va. Beach, VA 23462, - at HybridAcademy.com.

So if you really want to learn Pekiti Tirsia, come to Virginia Beach, we run a 5 day intensive program from twice yearly, and this is our 5th year, every September and March - Go to PekitiTirisia.com for the real answers and perhaps find out why so many Kali Silat players can't hold a stick to Pekiti Tirsia. By the way, in our club Tuhon named our ways of practice as SinaTirsiaWali, after Turhon visited Cebu back in 1989, when everyone was still talking about me two years after. As Grand Master Canete said, "Greg, we heard what you said, Kali will be all over the world, period." circa 1977.

I remember one day when I was leaving when Tuhon called me in 1993, when I opening a school in New York City, that very day February 7th on his encouragement and that of my students that supported me in that venture. Including Jack Holland, 68 when he started with me, circa 1994 and now in Long Island, continuing his practice.

The real Pekiti Tirsia continues also, to thrive from examination of what you do, not what I do. Practice hard, never quit. the words repeat in my ear from Tuhon Gaje, Jr., and Suryadi Jafri, RIP.

regards P. Greg Alland, Master - signed sealed and presented to me by Tuhon Gaje, Jr. 1996, in Bago City, Philippines. After twelve trips to the Philippines, I'll even show you why you have to visit the Philippines with us and train there. regards P. Greg Alland
