  • How long training for kali ?

As for other styles, Muay Thai takes 2 years to be effective. Shaolin Kung Fu of 20 dedicated years! So I heard. So in in FMA, how long does it take to put your Weapon skills into combat effectively ? Like a muay thai`st, some individuals can use their body weapons in a very effective way in 6 months.

I would say that most people have applicable material within 6 months in Kali ... of course, what a student learns will depend on the instructor ... and how well the student can apply the material will differ from student to student. But Kali (at least in my experience) tends to build competent fighters pretty quickly.

it depends on the opponent, you can training 3 or 4 tecniques of kali 5 hours per week during six months, and i can tell you that it will be so effectives.....

the question is the skill of the opponent/s....

      bye

A good place to start is The FMA Database.

It's occasionally down from time to time but keep trying.

As far as what people charge, I know people who charge $5.00 a session and others who charge up to $50.00 a session. It runs the gamut.

Never if you don't spar, If you want to be 'effective' in your weapons skills, start sparring. Weapons are like everything else, you have to train alive. Get some gear and maybe a pair of action flex sticks and have fun.
