Yup, something going on between the camps. They are BROTHERS and they are fighting (Paul and Victor). When brothers fight it gets stupid quickly and stays that way for a loooooong time. Brothers tend to have warped perspectives of what happened when once the fighting starts (my generation has 3 sets of brothers, I know my dad had a brother, but I didn't have a clue where he lived or anything else because of something stupid from over 40 years ago) You want to know the truth? Take what Maurice says, William says, Paul says, and Victor says. Sit down at a table and figure out how it all can be "true" at the same time - THAT is the real truth. Do they mean to distort facts? No it's brothers fighting. It just so happens the brothers are fighting about a family art and the practioners of that art get poliitical.

BN is PP's filtering system. It works just fine and gives him (Paul) a chance to determine if he is going to teach Serak. Victor teaches Tongkat (his entry system) and Serak. Victor has an open door policy. You want to learn Serak, show up and learn. Hence, it is only reasonable to expect a differance in Paul's BN and Victor's Serak courses. It isn't a matter of courage and common sense, it is a matter of do you want to learn BN or Serak.
